In the tourism industry there are few secrets that people don’t know about – Belize isn’t one of them. As compared to other star destinations, Belize has been entirely manicured by Mother Nature. Ever since the conquest of the New World Belize has captured the imagination of people everywhere: families on vacation, backpackers, newlyweds, nature conservationists. Belize has a secret place for everyone. Here’s what I like about a trip to Belize, access by land, sea and air is just so easy, hassle free and drama free. One of the most encouraging aspects of a Belize trip is its easy accessibility by air, land and sea. As a result it is easy to organise short trips and weekend excursions.

Arriving in Belize from anywhere in North America is fast and convenient - with the array of flights, cruises and bus lines entering the Belizean borders at regular intervals. Now, for those of you that are nautical in nature sailing on the Caribbean Sea, just like Jack Sparrow, will allow you to experience the wondrous joy of the outlying islands of Belize. Some people like to travel by road, if that be you, then hire a car or take a luxury bus from anywhere in North and Central America and point your compass toward Belize. These are the some of the prominent cities; (Dallas, Miami, Charlotte, and Houston) where you can get a flight on American Airlines, US Airways and Continental Airlines straight into Belize.

No trip to Belize would be complete without a plan (an itinerary) as most tourist attractions are close by. When you really want to cut loose here are three things to indulge yourself. The first tip is for those who like to eat and drink. Head over to Placencia Village, San Pedro and San Ignacio and all you’ve got to do is find yourself a quaint Mexican restaurant. The second is for those who want to connect with their inner self, head over to Long Caye or Lighthouse Reef Atoll. The third tip is for those who like to get away from the maddening crowds. When i want to get away from the crowd i go to Long Caye or Lighthouse Reef Atoll.

Belize has a multitude of transport options. Among the many options are you can hire a car, take a bus, or take a taxi. You might want to consider taking a plane or a bus if the trip is longer. For people who can think outside the box there is the option to hire a bicycle at a minor cost. If your time is at a premium, then local airlines can be an option for a quick trip, although many visitors prefer buses as they provide you with a window side view of the cultural and geographical landscape of Belize. Many of the frequent visitors to Belize are also likely to hop around in ferries and water taxis - giving them a closer look into the heart and soul of Belize, the river system and inland waterways.

The heaviest tourist starts from December and continues until June. Belize experiences a rainy season from June until November. So, if you want to experience Belize in a cooler and milder form, December to May is the right period. The people in Belize are warm, friendly and will greet you with a smile on their face. When you arrive in Belize you will find out very quickly that Belizeans will welcome you with open arms and a warm heart. Many visitors to Belize buy real estate because they just fall in love with the place. There is a place in Belize called Long Caye. Long Caye has pristine, white beaches and unbelievable fishing spots Long Caye is also one of the most popular places where foreigners are buying real estate. It doesn’t matter how long people stay in Belize; without exception everyone who returns home wished the stayed longer.
